The Monkfish Complete Care Plan - Complete Care for Your Monaro


At Monkfish Performance we are proud to launch our Complete Care Plan. The CCP gives peace of mind to owners whose cars are out of warranty. It enables owners to pay a small monthly amount and in return your car is covered for all servicing costs, Mot, and labour charges for repairs.

In brief, the key benefits are as follows:

The Complete Care Plan ensures that you car is maintained to the highest standards, with both parties working together to minimise the cost of ownership. As you only pay for the parts, and not the labour; it is in each party's interests to keep the car maintained to the highest standards.

In order for the car to be accepted onto the CCP it needs to be brought up to our enhanced service standard. This will entail a thorough inspection and a report of any remedial works required to bring it up to the required standard. If the car is nearing the end of its manufacturer's warranty, then the manufacturer may be responsible for some of these items.

Once the car is brought up to standard at the customers cost, it can then be accepted onto the CCP. From then on all servicing, MoT and labour charges for repairs are covered.

You can opt out at any time; there are no penalties or minimum membership requirements.
Therefore, for example you would no longer have to keep paying if you sold the car.

Complete Care Plan - FAQ

1. I only do a low mileage - are there different costs?
a. Yes, there are different prices for annual mileages of up to 10,000; 20,000 and 30,000.

2. My car is fitted with Wortec/Monkfish Modifications - are they eligible?
a. Yes, only the most seriously modified cars will attract a higher premium.

3. I have had some Wortec products fitted by another dealer, will I still be eligible?
a. Yes, it will go through the same inspection, and seriously modified cars may attract a higher premium.

4. My car has been modified by other companies - will it be eligible?
a. Yes, but subject to inspection and any remedial works being carried out. There may be an additional premium payable, dependant on the modifications. Each car will be considered on a case by case basis.

5. Will I be able to get my car worked on anywhere else?
a. No, all works must be carried out exclusively by us - otherwise your car may be excluded.

6. What if I break down or have a puncture?
a. There is a level as to what is reasonable, in an emergency it would be quite acceptable to have work done, but you must tell us immediately afterwards as the CCP relies on trust and a good customer / supplier relationship. No costs are recoverable from the CCP in the event of work being carried out elsewhere.

7. What is required to make my car eligible to join?
a. The car would have an Enhanced Service with a full report of any works required to bring it up to standard. The enhanced service will include items such as geometry, corrosion inspection, compression tests, gearbox oil change (unless proof of recent change), emissions test etc. Basically all items to ensure that the car is in the best condition. The remedial works must be done in order to be acceptable, but there are some items which are non critical - for example if the radio does not work - it does not have to be fixed as it has no bearing as to the reliability of the car. But if there is an oil leak this would need to be rectified as it may affect future reliability. Any items agreed as not to be fixed would be excluded from the plan.

8. Who pays for the first service and work in order to join?
a. The customer does - when the car is up to the enhanced standard it then gets accepted on to the CCP. This is necessary for the plan to work and be fair and reasonable to all customers.

9. If Monkfish performance deem that some parts require replacement under the CCP, can I supply my own parts?
a. No, Monkfish performance will supply all parts - this guarantees the standard of parts required by the CCP. There may be some exceptions, subject to our approval.

10. What are the age and mileage limits?
a. There are none - and there are no limits on the number of claims providing that the car has been exclusively worked on by Monkfish performance in accordance with all service schedules, time scales and all recommendations have been followed.

11. What items are excluded?
a. The CCP is very comprehensive and covers almost everything, however there are some exclusions, notably:
i. Track days
ii. Damage as a result of failing to carry out basic items e.g. top up oil and water
iii. Accident damage and Bodywork including Paintwork and Theft
iv. Alarms and radios other than the factory fitted ones
v. Other accessories not factory fitted, i.e. phone kits, satnav etc
vi. Failure to bring the car to us at the prescribed interval/mileage
vii. Collection and Delivery

12. I have an older model Holden / HSV; will it be eligible for the CCP?
a. Yes, At present the following vehicles are eligible for the complete care plan:
Monaro CV8 and VXR all Model Years; HSV- GTS and GTSR variants; Holden Utes1999 Model Year on.

13. My car is already serviced by Monkfish Performance - will I get the initial service cheaper?
a. Yes, for cars we already know there may be a saving on the initial service price.
