The "cat back" exhaust system is a part system that replaces the exhaust from the flange joint behind the catalytic convertors to the rear of the car.

This wortec exhaust is mandrel formed for optimal flow in high grade 304 stainless steel, with polished silencers and tailpipes.

Specifically designed for 2007 VXR8 wortec are the only manufacture to produce switchable exhaust systems.

The wortec system is designed to give a loud tuned V8 sound when switched to loud and a sporty and muted V8 sound on quiet

This systems allows the driver to have the best of both worlds. Loud when you want to be, quiet when you need to be. The system is track day friendly in the quiet mode, no need for extra silencing. In it's most basic form the system just needs a spanner to change from loud to quiet. It also has the option to be switched from the drivers seat electronically. (extra cost)
