This pac increases power output by approx 25 bhp above standard and an extensive increase in torque across the range..This system features EXCLUSIVE switchable silencers - electric in car switching is available as an option, the system comes fitted either loud or quiet, but can be manually changed in about twenty minutes.
Specifically designed for 2005/6 Vauxhall Monaro VXR - wortec are the only manufacture to produce switchable exhaust systems.
This systems allows the driver to have the best of both worlds - loud when you want to be, quiet when you need to be. The system is track day friendly in the quiet mode, so no need for extra silencing.
In its manual form, the system is preset to loud or quiet upon installation. It can be changed later on by changing a plate in each silencer - about half hours work on a ramp!
It also has the option to be switched from the drivers seat electronically. The Factory Holden button is installed in the centre console - so the entire installation is discreet! The electronic option is extra cost.
Straight through for pure NASCAR sound , silencers in use for a pure V8 sound.
The pac consists of a cat back exhaust and PCM re map.
The remap brings the LS2 into focuswith increases in torque and power.
